WTF second boons today!!
I played expedition for 8 days and got 11 10-slot runes. It’s really not that rare if you go through expeditions fast.
Some people claim they ran it for a month without a single one, but they never tell you how many GEs with aldur’s mod they really ran.
It also depends on how much they actually play. Someone can stay that they’ve ran it for a month and only have 30 hours of playtime and someone else can have 100 hours of playtime in a week.
For me it took around 50-60 aldur sagas and about a month to get all 4 boons. Not sure how much playtime, since I do a bunch of other stuff in between.
Funny that you critique people talking in terms of months and not number of expeditions but then you say your stats in number of days instead of number of expeditions…
Well yeah, I’m not complaining about things not dropping because they do if you actually play.

50-60 Aldurs can be 50-300+ grand expeditions depending on luck and how diligent you are.
I wouldn’t say its a great or desired metric. Maybe # of “all runes are at least x” and maybe some arguing there on whether only 7+ matters.
I think a lot of people are putting %quantity of items found instead of power rune on remnants. Once I swapped to 25% power rune chance I started seeing a LOT better remnants, with my rerolls as well.
That node doesn’t give a 25% chance for a remnant to contain a power rune. It gives a 25% chance for a remnant’s mods to function as if a power rune exists. It has no impact on what remnant you get. Otherwise you’d have a ton of divines/locks/mirrors.

How should I set up my maps / how do I activate the log book as in what do I have activated in my inventory? The rumors, do those matter?

I have been farting around in expedition, and im lucky to get one 7+ rune shard per day (maybe 8 maps if im lucky.) I have tried getting 4+ rumors, but they are always the awful ones and/or boss ones like Medved/Olroth.
Do I just need to turbo way out to sea to find the good ones?
Are you using Aldurs sagas? If you get a location with 4 or more GEs use an Aldurs sagas.
I tried one once on a 4-rumor logbook area, but the results were awful. Given the cost of an Aldur’s Saga was about 60% of my Divine hoard, and my return was maybe 2 Divs, i opted to not do that again. Now that I’m up to about 300 Divs, I am willing to give it a shot, but want to make sure im using the right waystones/tablets. I feel like I end up overspending on them and don’t get much in return.
Get the GE Google Docs showing which ones are good. Use your saga on ones that are good(frigid bluffs is the best). Don’t have to invest a lot in tablets, just monster effectiveness and rarity.

I did encounter 3 of them yesterday and and in all of them i chose aldurs legacy because i was broke as hell lol am i cooked
I got 3 within 3 hours two weeks ago. Must have spent all my rng. Expedition has been all downhill since. Haven’t been able to sustain even aldurs in my last 8 tries.
Can you trade this boon? And what happens if another person joins for it?
