With spark coc comet in 0.4 I was doing Trial runs for people but in SSF it is a whole different world. Feels way more satisfying relying on yourself for the build to function and getting lucky with mid-League crafts aka find a good base with Tyrannical, toss an abrasion on it, then pray for the Exalts to hit something good. My bow only had good Prefixes lmao but it works for now in T15s

Dude I did Carn’s Shield Wall Titan in 0.4 as a League starter and it was so damn good. I tried it in SSF but I didnt get past Act 3 idk I just went back to my Spark BM bc it was like a 2k divine build thanks to every single thing from any League Mechanic selling for an insane amount thanks to everyone doing Temple lol. I am going to 100% SSF this League bc 0.5 put Poe2 in such a better state. Such a better experience now. You know I was looking at Varashta builds and was super tempted bc I heard its HCSSF friendly and I was close to doing it. But I did Spark CoC on Stormweaver and Gemling in Trade League so I wanted to switch up the playstyle. After I 100% this Chayula Monk, and if there’s no economy reset by then, I’m gonna migrate everything in my SSF League and redo it all on Varastha build bc it looks so cool.

Chaos is the way. Sure, it takes 3 runs, but they don’t take very long, its pretty easy unless you really get screwed by rng, and GGG made it so much better by telling you which fragment each one will drop. If you do fail one, it’s a waste of 15 minutes, but you don’t have to completely start over from the beginning.

The Trial Master has sooo much less health than Zarokh. I got him to half health in 30secs before I stupidly got too close to him and poorly dodge rolled and he snapped right to my location with that Sunder looking ability. He got past 73% evasion, tanked all my ES, then there’s a second explosion about 0.5 seconds after the initial first wave and that also got through my evasion and one shot my 1300hp. I was so damn mad bc I was burning his HP. Zarokh I got lucky with really good Boons and only a few bad Afflictions. Also what’s good about Chaos runs is the negative debuffs you get in the rooms prior to the boss do not follow over to the boss fight. So that’s pretty cool.

Nice good to hear someone else is enjoying Poisonburst after the nerfs, and in SSF. I got lucky and found the bow Goratha recommended for campaign and then upgrade it with one of the crests to run it in maps. Splinterheart is what its called and it goes up to 300 max phys damage roll. And if you corrupt it, like I did and it increases the physical damage, it goes up to 340sh max phys damage roll. It splits when it hits a target and if you run Fork support in poisonburst, it Forks after it splits and then splits a second time on the fork. So combine that with herald of blood explosions, the clear gets insane and clears over a screen away. I used it to farm my Djinn Baryas and Inscribed Ultimatuma in T11 maps so my trials are max area lvl 75.

Just saw your last sentence. My plans now is to finish the Atlas 100%. After work today I’ma see how the Arbiter of Ash fight goes. I think I’ll burn his health thanks to the chaos tornadoes from the ascendancy. My tooltip DPS hits like 33k with the Archon of Chayula buff up. Then I’ll see how the Arbiter of Divinity goes. In Trade League I paid for boss carrys just to fill the Atlas out bc I was in that rush mode thanks to Trade League lol. So idk how it will feel. Also idk much about farming the spark and what not to farm the Divinity boss over and over. Hopefully it’s not too difficult to repeat farm him. I gotta read up on it on lunch break. But yeah man clear the Atlas and maybe halfway through the Atlas when I get some form of map juice I’ll clear Abyss Atlas so I can farm Omens and what not. Breach Atlas is done, had to clear it up to Xesht for the Ascendancy. But my main goal is to stack Chaos Orbs, Fractures, and Omens so I can craft at least a 600dps phys bow. Excited to learn the ins-and-outs of Poe2. I said to my buddy that 0.5 would set the course and build a proper foundation for Poe2 going forward and thankfully I was right when they dropped the 0.5 reveal. I’m skipping Poe1 3.29 bc I refuse to not 100% my SSF objectives on the Poisonburst build. Every League I tell myself I’m gonna learn to craft and I never craft my stuff due to fears of losing currency and I end up buying gear. So now I refuse to leave SSF until I know how to craft everything properly. I set my filter up properly to highlight the top 2 best gear bases for each slot, minus Obliberator bow I have as the only bow on my filter. So I’ll keep farming ilvl 81+ bases and currency. I can clear T15s in less than 5mins with 3 tablets (but I don’t have much Atlas juice yet so we’ll see how much more difficult it becomes for a 411dps bow). Looking forward to it and excited to grind and learn everything about crafting in Poe2. I already 1890hrs in Poe2 so it’s about damn time I learn lol.

Everyone, myself included, have PTSD from 0.1 when both trials were waaay overturned and ridiculous lmao. Now they’re way more fair, and with proper relics, easy.
