Random a lot of these people have been running hundreds of expeditions just to find 1. Aldur’s Saga adds more modifiers on your grand expedition making it more likely if you get something like

“All remnants are x minimum slots”

”+1 remnant with y rune slots”

If you are having fun, keep going. You’ll learn a lot, next league you’ll do way better because of your experience

What the other comments said I agree. Also, take your time to enjoy the game, you will hit a lot of walls which will require you to upgrade your character in a lot of different ways. You will watch a lor fo youtube videoa and read on here about everything, so it’s gonna be a ride. Just take your time and enjoy

We don’t even have a timeline for the next update yet, nor do we know what it’ll even contain. Plus, there will not be another new full league until December, just some smaller timed events. IMHO, play now and enjoy yourself. You will also learn a lot about how the game actually works, which you can then use the next time you make a new character.

If your goal is to farm currency you want to do every GE you can with white T15 maps while rerolling the remnants.

While ingame, shift + alt + click the tablet to get a quick price check.

You can then further drill down to determine which of the modifiers on the tablet is actually valuable. To do this, in the trade window under the “Stats” entry, first delete the “implicit” line (it’s redundant because every ritual tablet implicitly has this). Then uncheck (not delete) the first of the four modifiers. Run a search. Note the prices. Then re-add the checkmark for that modifier, and uncheck the second modifier instead. Search and note prices. Rinse, repeat, until you have checked all four combinations of three modifiers. One of those combinations will have the lowest price, and that indicates the most valuable modifier - namely the one that’s unchecked in that search. This helps you in the future to know at a glance if a tablet is valuable, even without running a price check.

You can also play with the min and max values. The price check automatically sets a default range, but that range doesn’t always make sense.

You can use the same methods to price check other items too. Though with gear like armour or weapons, the price check tends to select way too many things at the same time, leading to searches finding no results. Or if it finds results, they will vastly overestimate the value because it only finds extremely close matches, not the many slightly different but still perfectly comparable alternatives. You need to learn what to uncheck and how to tune the search in order to get a good result.

Found it, having a rune or socketed item which has a limitation of 1 cannot be put into both weapons as that clashes with the limitation.

The more the better i guess. I use hilda with the point that gives wffectivenes for each 100 power of monsters you kill. The boss becomes quite tanky at that point though

I’m guessing you have all ritual passives so make sure you’ve selected sapping in the ritual passives in atlas tree, the node is traveler’s woe. One of the nodes above it makes it so certain item types appear more often depending on the type of ritual.

I wasn’t farming for the rings but eventually found all 3 over a week or so in like around maybe I’m guessing 50-75 maps. My strat was rite of the nameless, aiming for cities so I could use the unique tablet + additional rerolls and reduced reroll cost on the other 3. Jado master with 0-40% tablet effect is a must and whatever else. Ezomyte cities are ideal but if I didn’t see any I’d just do vaal or faridun. I don’t think my tablets had pack size and I don’t quite remember but I might’ve stopped rolling maps for it too because even a regular 6 mod t15 with whatever pack size was generating more tribute than I could spend even with 15+ rerolls and you can’t donate to the king or whatever so it’s wasted.

If you try this, maybe roll a few maps with omen of chaotic rarity and chaotic monsters and see how it feels to you. I don’t really buy anything other than omens and uniques I don’t have in my stash yet, but if you’re planning on making a different character and want to corrupt/double corrupt random stuff you’ll likely spend more tribute than I was spending. Point is, play around with pack size and see what works for you.

Also, there’s a node on the atlas tree that makes Swamp biomes have more pack size and another node that makes ezomyte cities count as swamps too.

They don’t show up very often but, unlike shit like MB and HH, they do show up so good luck!

Oh, also, I don’t think rite of the nameless is absolutely necessary but it helps a lot. Maps get extra mods for lower cost of rerolls or monsters give more tribute sometimes, so it helps since we can’t just buy perfect tablets.

You don’t need to do anything, but yes it can be very helpful later game when you’re trying to determine in what way some seemingly-comparable items are better or worse or if you’re trying to make adjustments to compensate for certain weaknesses your build might have. Also good for making tweaks to your passive tree and seeing the tradeoffs without having to do that in game.

It’s not very hard to use and is worth learning. They’ve done a lot to make it more convenient over the years.

It’s very helpful. I know it seems scary, but it’s surprisingly easy to use, you can import your character directly, and copy/paste stuff in from the trade site.

Especially if you’re spending that kind of div, it’s good to know if it’s a proper upgrade before you buy.

Which item are you looking for? In normal maps you only get splinters after you end deli, for which you will need to have the atlas node that unlocks this. In simulacrums yes you eill get loot every round you finish, if you’re looking for voices, be prepared to run a lot of simulacrums

You can:
* Complete all the challenges (“H”)
* Kill all uber bosses (not that difficult (yet?))
* Make your currency grow bigger
* Minmax your gear
* Play because you have fun
* Make/follow a build you enjoy

Depends on what you like to do - but yes, there is no story in the endgame

You don’t need to choose the modifier crystals after each wave. They’re optional. They don’t affect the drop rate of special end rewards (voices/megalomaniac/boss invitations) either, just the generic loot after each wave. So you can make it as difficult as you’re comfortable with, but no more.

You can repeat the map, I guess? Should be safe to do so without losing the Rite.

I even died in a Rite map once and even then I was able to repeat it. Normally you don’t get any mechanics at all in a map you repeat after dying, but that time three ritual altars showed up anyway and I was able to get my quest item.

The temple feels hard to progress at the start because you have so much destabilization after each run. It feels like you barely get enough new rooms to make up for what you lose.

But the Atlas points greatly help with that. So you can either work your way to Atziri and beat her for 6 points every time, or you can farm some temple crystals in the city maps surrounding the quest hub to get points there.

The extra rooms on the sides are restricted rooms that are placed after killing Architect. Just keep doing runs and you’ll get to architect

You didn’t get omens from Amanamu monsters, because you didn’t get Amanamu monsters. You got a different faction.

And yes, you might say “but I have Amanamu selected in the Atlas tree, I get Amanamu in every map”. Yeah, so do I. Still, I have seen on at least three occasions this league that I got a different faction anyway. No idea why. It’s super rare, so probably a bug. Wouldn’t even be the only node in the Atlas subtree for Abyss that isn’t working properly.

The reason I can tell it was a different faction is because “Omen of the Sovereign” can only drop from Ulaman mobs.

Make sure you dont have “faridun cities also count as” set to desert on your atlas. There’s another node that makes desert spawn 1 rare with increased effectiveness rather than multiple rares.
