I rooted for Jokic as a rookie, turd for brains—when nobody else thought he was even a starter quality big. And I rooted for LeBron when he announced he was going to Miami, when everyone else hated him and said Kobe (the rapist) was better and always would be

I’ve been an NBA fan for 40 years and have about 100 times more knowledge of the NBA than you do, so f-ck off—not everyone roots for a team just bc they arbitrarily live there or were born there. People that aren’t inbred hicks move around rather than living in the same place their whole lives

As much as I don’t like the Paul George trade I’d still probably prefer that over getting Anthony Davis. It just goes to show how things change because at one point in time, maybe like 2018 or so I would’ve been through the roof at getting AD

2018 I would have been through the roof getting PG. AD, when healthy is far far far superior to PG and is exactly the type of player we need at the the C/PF position.

No he isn’t. AD was only two spots above him in RAPM this season (Hugo sandwiched between them), both with +2.5. Paul George has been much higher the previous ~7 years in RAPM. AD is just not a great offensive player. He’s just *fine*.

Based on the return they actually got there was almost no market for the player, why would WAS do this when it doesnt move the needle for them? AD doesnt really interfere with AJs development and is a more financially flexible player to Brown. BOS would obviously rather have this trade.
