Westbrick is perfectly valid nickname for a pg with the shooting stats he had. I’ve seen people refer to James harden as hitler and it doesn’t seem to bother him, and LeBron literally has haters who made careers off of slandering him.

This nickname is not an attack on him as a person. It’s literally a criticism of his style of play. This was maybe the most fair widespread criticism in the NBA at the time.

Russ is trying to act like he’s the first athlete to ever have a negative nickname associated with him.

The only follow by a real reporter is: “have you considered making shots to make the name go away”

As an OKC local, I can confidently say that Westbrook is - at minimum - a local Thunder legend. He is and always will be appreciated and praised for his time as a Thunder franchise player & Thunder GOAT.
