Edit: I see no lies in what I said - he played 327 regular season games during his seven seasons with the franchise. Out of the 587 games the team played during his tenure there, he missed roughly 44% of the games.
Ja is the only player who was BC’s teammate throughout his whole career, although Jaren and Jitty could almost make that claim. I wouldn’t think it strange if those two also appeared in the memorial.
Yes Ja was injured a lot and so was BC, but when they were healthy they created a few fond memories… hence the memorial.
He’s their franchise’s most important player of the post-Gasols era. Who else is more prominently associated with the Memphis Grizzlies other than Gasol, Gasol, Allen, and Zbo?
