Club 520 Podcast react to the ugliest jumpshots in NBA history
MKG worked on that every off-season and it would just go back to awful every time. That said he could have been a good player but injuries really derailed his career
the one season he had his shot actually straightened out, he hit like 3 or 4 threes in a week and then tore his shoulder a second time because the dumbasses in our organization let him play like 3 months early
I wondered how incompetent your organization was and damn that’s malpractice
Ngl he coulda had the aaron gordon or gerard wallace arc if he was drafted by another org
Nah that man was offensively inept, he just wasnt nba level on that end.
yeah he got minutes but it was as a 1 way “hope to God he figures something out” player like Jonathan Isaac
People like to act that going to a good org is some magic cure all when good orgs draft busts all the time lol.
I mean he didn’t pan out because he couldn’t shoot, and in an org as dysfunctional as Bobcats, you really think he woulda developed ideally?
He couldn’t shoot, he didn’t need to, if he was taught intangibles and focused on being a connector or a more Draymond style player.
But if his shot did come around, he would def be a strong contributor.
Im js saying he’s not a bust the same way Bennet or Kevin Knoz was a bust
Offensively there was no saving that jumpshot but his defense would have been absolutely elite for 10 years minimum and had he improved as a slasher and rebounder in traffic he would have won a championship somewhere probably.
Don’t forget about Shawn Marion hitting 3s from his chest!!
Like a 7th grader trying to reach the rim from the 3 point line.
Bro I could never hit shots with him in 2k
It was so easy to block his shot though lol
I tried his shooting form and it actually works too
I died at “what you say, coach?”
This, for real. Dirty! Loool
Lmfao “that n* feet the other way”
I forgot how rough MKG’s jumper was. I remember thinking he was the type of guy I always thought would put it together someday, but he never really did
And he was making it in practice too from the clips. It’s a really hard shot to fix especially with the muscle memory and the amount of mechanics that were just bad
r/ContagiousLaughter
bhen top 3 laughs
mook top 2
Pod was better before nepo baby bro got a spot.
Look is the catalyst to a lot of bhen moments. Just fanning the fire
s/o doron lamb he prolly laughin somewhere
probably their funniest segment to me. BHen is a national treasure.
WHAT YOU SAID COACH?!
As fucked as it is, the one where he talks about the Martin Luther King march with the guy getting sprayed with the hose is funny af. BHen has some of the most contagious laughter out there.

“I ain’t know they made em in Rican”
I’m dying 😂😂😂
kuminga’s family in the warriors’ food room for me
Can you link that? I was in SF when that story broke, it was hilarious

Oh my god ahahah. The fact that the Warriors leaked that story was so goddamn petty.
“No foil is crazy” hahaha
Protect him man lol
I know this whole thread has turned into being about MKG but I really want to shout out that Bill Cartright turnaround fadeaway in the post. I have no idea how he gets his hand to spin the ball in mid-air like that.
My brain shatters into fragments trying to imagine how you would even think to shoot like that once, let alone over and over again until you’re deep into an NBA career.
I only knew him later on the Bulls where his scoring wasn’t needed, but he averaged 20 ppg his first two seasons!? With that shot? I guess if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
If you look at how he shot it before his legs got all messed up from injuries and he could actually get some lift on his jump, it looks a lot more like a normal (high-release) jumpshot.
He still has a bit of a hitch, but it came at the peak of his jump. So it looks somewhat fluid compared to how he shot it post-injuries.
Bro this pod genuinely the funniest shit on the internet. I’m in tears damn near everytime I watch them 😂
Chuck Hayes
He went lottery!
🤣🤣
MKG’s jumper always looked like it hurt
No contender was playing MKG ever. No matter how good his defense is, he was too much of a negative on offense. He’s basically a center man.
Noah’s form is the worst I can remember.
Shout out to D-Lamb.
nah fr though they saw his jump shot at drafted him second
B Hen was generational on his own but him paired with Mook is just iconic on the podcasting side 🤣
Youtube it, Manny Pacquiao
Don’t forget Anthony Mason shot putting one handed free throws.
I didn’t laugh once. Maybe I’m dead inside.
Yeah prolly
I dunno; making fun of cats because…why? I’d rather celebrate how they made it to the highest level with quirky form.
I think for me I gotta see all the other dudes jumpers except Teague before they start clowning
