I say this in almost every thread that people complain about him but it usually gets downvoted or ignored. Happy to see it upvoted for once. I get being annoyed by Rich Paul’s handling of this but not LeBron taking his time.

To be fair, he does love attention. He’s filmed entire documentaries about less. He has a full time film crew that he pays almost year round.

Yeah I’m not surprised LeBron is taking his time and using some of this off season to relax. The man has been deeply involved with the affairs of an NBA team for essentially the entirety of his adult life and as soon as he announces his decision I’m sure there will be lots of front office guys, players and coaches who will want to talk with him to prepare for next season.

At 41 he has a rare opportunity to take a month or two for himself before getting back in the saddle for one last ride. He has nothing to lose by waiting either, teams won’t lose interest in the idea of adding him and he still fits well enough on any roster that teams won’t need make a ton of roster moves to make his addition work (assuming he doesn’t care too much about a big contract at this point)

It’s attention seeking if he have already decided. but I think it’s not, because he likes basketball and don’t have much time to play it, so why rush if you are gonna lock your 1 year.
