The Denver Nuggets signed Trevon Brazile to a 4-year, $9.3 million deal, which includes the first two seasons fully guaranteed, league sources told @hoopshype. Brazile was the 35th pick of the 2026 NBA Draft out of Arkansas. He was acquired in a trade with the San Antonio Spurs.

AG is probably not that interested in teaching him anything since if Brazile does well, it means AG is likely getting traded. I think it’s a lot harder to “learn from” a guy on your roster, especially when it’s clear that the org is trying to replace the starter (long term).

When AG was a rookie, he didn’t have the feel for the game that he has now. AG basically transformed his game from a 1st-option on offense type to a defensive do it all type.

This Brazile guy might follow AG’s Denver footsteps. Don’t really know him. He’s a 2nd round long shot.

AG was a #4 overall pick at age 18 with excellent ball handling skills and a high motor for his size/athleticism. Brazile is a 2nd rounder at age 23 coming off a bad knee injury 2 years ago with a low motor, no ball handling, and slightly better shooting than AG while having similar athleticism.

They’re very different prospects in my eyes. Orlando thought AG could be a #1 or #2. We’re hoping Brazile can be a #4.
