Yes bam is 1000x more qualified to shoot 3s than Kessler and even so is not considered anything resembling a threat from beyond the arc. Kessler will never in a million years be a threat from 3.

Yes 8 total shots is not worth considering in any way shape or form. There’s simply no evidence to support your 35% statement. Not even an indicator that you can point to that would suggest maybe he has a chance of doing that.

Brook Lopez was an elite free throw shooter for a big who was already taking mid range jumpers as part of his scoring package. He also had great touch around the rim. None of those things are true of Kessler.

Brook always was a good shooter and had offensive touch. Also, a good free throw shooter. Easier to just extend his offensive game out passed the 3pt line. He also just didn’t start shooting them in his 8th year. He worked for a few years to be able to add it to his on court repertoire.

For a big man like Kessler, with little to no shooting touch, it will take him a few years. If Andre Drummond can shoot 35% from 3 last year…
