Which one of Anthony/Bosh/Wade would they have picked? All three were obviously light years better than Darko, but all three of them mess with the championship squad in their own ways (Anthony with his ball dominance and defensive issues, Bosh with taking the spot they had for Rasheed, and Wade with how to rotate him in with Chauncey, Rip, and Tayshaun).

Bosh is probably the best choice because you can argue they wouldn’t need Rasheed, but he was such a valuable part of that title that it’s a tough choice to make.

Idk about that. On one hand it is one of the biggest draft screw-ups given the players that went right after. On the other hand, it might have shifted moves that offseason and season that could have led to not winning the championship. I will stick with the pain of that decision to ensure the championship happens.

- Traded the face of their franchise in the middle of the season that gave him his best chance at a title.

There was no way the Sixers could get Tatum, the Celtics only traded that pick because they were taking him regardless. If you redo that pick with hindsight, you go Donovan Mitchell and the Sixers probably win the title with him. You could also argue redoing the Simmons pick and going Jaylen Brown but I don’t think that works out as well as Mitchell would have instead of Fultz. Simmons was at least productive for a while pre-Atlanta. 

If it’s true that we could have gotten Haliburton for Simmons instead of Harden, that’s an option too. 

the value for what we gave up was actually fair if fultz had been as advertised. 3+the 14th pick of the next draft for a number 1 pick who on paper fit exactly what they needed with Simmons and Embiid. Problem was they clearly did not do their homework on fultz and when he wouldn’t work out for them without a trade finalized, they should have just walked away.

he’s also an all time outlier with what happened in his career. fultz was not a bust because of his talent, or work ethic
