• Patrick Williams was later re-signed despite not producing. A 5-year (yes 5) 90 million dollar contract. He makes 18 million a year despite being LESS than a role-player.

• The DeRozan/LaVine era was really bad for player development.

• We traded off of nearly our entire starting lineup and our bench. Coby White, Ayo Dosunmu, Kevin Huerter, Vucevic, Dalen Terry, Julian Phillips, and Jevon Carter were all moved. We did not receive a single first, not even for Coby or Ayo.

• Our head office lied about Coby White during the trade deadline. He was injured, and our medical staff was aware of that. We were forced to alter the deal with the Hornets to be less favorable for us.

• One of the assets we acquired was Jaden Ivey. He was waived because of THAT THING HE DID. That was the straw that broke the camels back. That caused us to clean house.

I’d say the Kings FO is worse overall but I think if you say last 5 its comparable at least. twenty, no, because in the late 2000s and early 2010s they built some solid teams (some of that is draft luck but not all of it)

Chet could have gotten the escalator clause in his extension just like practically all of the top young guys have been getting for years now.
