Honestly, all except for 4 are kinda cool but you’d have to make the free throw rule a bit more complex or you’d end up with teams sending in a player from the end of the bench to foul someone and hope for negative points.

the nba has is own set of rules but most aren’t written. like you can travel, you can set illegal screens, you can carry. none are permitted in the rules but it is known by everyone they are allowed.

I would change 3 so that it is for and-1 situations. They get the choice of 2 points if they make the free throw, negative one if they miss or an automatic extra point without the freethrow attempt.

4 points if a player hits all 3 free throws when fouled beyond the 3point line.

Also to speed up the end of games make it so after 2 intentional fouls under 3 minutes without the opponent scoring the fouled team gets two points automatically. 

Is there any proof that these are the real rules? You get a lot of fake articles circulated by South Korean sources about them. Obviously the regime is bad, but they don’t actually do stuff like make everyone get the same haircut.

I love dunks being worth 3. As amazing as it is to watch Curry, the game is more fun to watch when players go to the hole. The rest of the rules are a bit daft.

I think a alternate swish rule would be great for the NBA right now - you only get 3pt from the beyond the perimeter if a swish. And I really like that FT rule. Heck no to the 8pt rule though that’s some banana league shit. But would love to see it in a lesser league. Even the WNBA would benefit from stuff like this to give it some life and difference.

I dig the pt modifier for fg under 3 sec rule but feel like we’d just end up with games ending in intentional fouls so that’d need to be addressed.

Dunks being worth 3 is interesting. What bothers me about the modern game is that we’re rewarding sniper shooting talent over elite athleticism, post moves, dribbles drives, handles, etc. For example, the Rockets a couple seasons ago had a ton of elite physical talent, but not enough shooters, so they never really had a chance. I’d much rather watch a roster built around getting to the rim than running around at the perimeter.

If I had to watch my team blow a 9 point lead because of 2 missed free throws and then allowing an 8 pt layup at the buzzer, I’m not sure my blood pressure would ever recover.

I don’t like rule 4, and I’m unsure about but hesitantly okay with 1-2. But rule 3 should absolutely be in there. It’d be a fantastic way to combat flopping
