being a tar heel i was tuning into the games & blowing up my undergrad friend group’s group chat constantly talking him up. that team was def flawed, but wilson was probably the most exciting unc player i’ve watched since like, either coby white or cam johnson (honorable mention to nassir little too). he just seemed so poised in the midrange even as a freshman, plus he was super explosive going to the cup (not to mention all his highlight reel blocks). can’t wait to see how he develops further, dudes gonna kill it
I’m a UNC fan too even though I’m a Davidson alum, so I’ve watched plenty of their teams over the years. Favorite obviously being the ty lawson, Danny green, wayne Ellington teams. Definitely agree with your analysis

Cannot be overstated how electric Caleb is. He breathed life back into the UNC program. He’s incredible and he’s competitive as hell. He’s got tons of tools and work ethic to develop them as well.
Wasn’t much of a 3 point shooter in college but I think his shot technique is good and he can add that to his game. He had just unbelievable touch on some tough turnaround jump shots so I think it’s craft he can build. Multiple times he’d be smothered and it looked like an awful look but he hit it so reliably because he’s clearly practiced.
Can we have Jalen Smith since you have Essengue/Wilsom/Buzelis/Miller/Collins/P. Williams to play 4? Or Smith is a backup C? I can offer you Josh Green and top-50 protected 2nd round pick from the Grizzlies.

I’m pretty sure personally if Wilson is able to be a consistent 3 point guy the only person in this draft I would see as being better than him based on my own future outlooks for these guys is Peterson.
