Idk, I mean yeah he obviously should, but the rest of the starting lineup is veterans that the Kings coaches and FO will probably be expecting a play-in appearance with… LaVine, DeAndre Hunter, Keegan Murray, Sabonis. If there’s one thing you can count on the Kings to do it’s wildly overestimate how good they actually are and try way too hard to grasp at the slimmest scraps of “postseason chances.”

I think part of it is the roster around him making his assist stats look pedestrian. Our guys keep fumbling the dimes he throws them. Cardwell in particular dropped a lot of pocket passes that Sabonis is going to finish.

I’d prefer if we didn’t have more field goal attempts that points, but it’s fine at this point and I think the reps will just make him better. I’m even more impressed with the level of defensive help his teammates were willing and able to give him.
