[Highlights] Yaxel Lendeborg fastbreak hammer
I didn’t know he could jump like that!
He shouldn’t be able to. After all he’s 23. Practically an old man.
Bro out there without his walker against those young bucks
Jokes aside its gotta feel vindicating if he starts balling in the league because media & fans will finally look at him as a young gun on the team instead of constantly holding his age against him.
Definitely, gonna admit, media had me iffy on the pick until i started watching more highlights and scout videos. His footwork could be better but he looks so much more polished than anyone else we’ve drafted which hopefully means he’ll be able to plug right into our motion offense
If I remember correctly, he didnt start seriously playing basketball till he was 17, so things like footwork will come along, especially with professional coaching. The fact that he has gotten so good in such a short period of time is a good sigh that he is a quick learner.
Genuinely wonder how many people watched him play last year. I wanted Yaxel to fall badly.
I’ve always watched Michigan basketball and I was low key hoping the Bucks drafted him. I had a feeling watching him. Not like overwhelming but he definitely stood out as like not just talented but a big moment riser.
rigged summer league
Barely needs to jump with the crazy wingspan
He was doing windmills and between the leg dunks with ease during warm ups. I can see him doing the dunk contest
People might say hes closer to a finished product cuz hes older, but who cares if hes averaging a double double?
especially for a team that is trying to win now. under the current CBA, it’s wildly valuable to draft a guy who can perform at a high level for all 4 years on his rookie contract.
Guys that play 2-4 years in college might be the new value pick
I highly doubt he will average a double double
If I can average a double double (at in-n-out) he certainly can
He’s versatile enough to do it with points and rebounds or points and ast
Literally one guy (Jokic) averaged double digit assists last season😭😭
Fuck it he’s the next jokic
no, thats Robbie Avila
Aint that better for teams anyway you get him more polished and you sign him cheaper for longer coming into his prime years. Ofc the caveat is that you are banking on the fact hes nba ready compared to younger prospects who have more time to grow
He needs a double double against nba players first, but yes. If he can play he can play
Double double is such an arbitrary stat. Even if we’re assuming that box score stats have a 1:1 correlation with on-court impact, there’s so many different combinations of stats that would be just as impactful as an ordinary double double.
Dominican LeBron
We have LeBron at home
Old man still got it
He can teach LeBron a few things this year
Go Blue! Go Yaxel!
Who needs lebrons, davises and god knows what more
If we sign AD he’s gonna be sitting on the bench with his street clothes 3/4ths of the year.
extendo arm
Extendo armo cuz.
Gomu gomu
Zion-lite
Lol no
bro cocked that joint back so far i thought he was gonna dislocate something
It shouldve been us :/. Hope Mara makes me eat my words.
Sit this one out.. you guys are going to be okay
That was Barkley-esque, just with the one hand finish rather than two
29 from Dallas should get cut, that’s some of the worst effort on defense you’ll see
He wanted no part of that.
okok
the defense is something else
He’s still got it.
We gonna be shampionship
An entire game to pick out clips from and we’re watching this guy dunk with no one around. How is this a highlight?
Great defence
This is the centre they needed when they drafted James Wiseman in 2020. Still on the two timelines baby!!
yaxel has been the best two-way player in summer league so far honestly. 6’9, guards 1-5, passes well, and he’s throwing down stuff like this. wild that he went undrafted.
This account’s comment history is hilarious, fuckin shit-ass LLM bot trained on outdated data from 2025.
In other comments it talks about Porter Jr. being on the Nuggets and making $36M (which he was in 2025), Myles Turner being on the Pacers (which he was in 2025), Wiggins being on the Warriors (which he was in 2025), and here in this comment it thinks Yax was undrafted because he was still in college in 2025.
