Have you noticed what centers got paid this off-season? Or what the Pacers gave up to land a center on an under-market contract?

There are only so many stretch 5s that can also play defense. Myles Turner isn’t a perfect player, but he’s well worth the contract the Bucks gave him.

Note: now should they have stretched the remainder of Dame’s contract to also sign that deal? Probably not, but Myles Turner will eventually net the Bucks a nice draft asset from a win now team.

Was nearly 50 years between Kareem and Giannis. Plenty of franchises (like yours) have never had a player that good, so no guarantee we get one ever again. I have no problem with trying everything possible while we had a player of his caliber.

Milwaukee did more for Giannis than Cleveland did for LeBron.

They actually built a contending team on his timeline and they were arguably the best team (or best constructed team) in the league for a while and eventually won a chip

They made an honestly fair risky call bringing in Dame considering how good he was, but it killed their championship window

Miami is a great organisation, but they look like they’re in rebuild mode right now. It’s gonna take a year or two to get this roster to contention-level
