Absolutely not. LeBron is casually making the 40’s look like a reasonable career twilight. It isn’t. LeBron took great care of his body, and can still contribute well on offense because he’s bigger than anyone who is going to guard a main ballhandler and distributor, and is one of the smartest players ever.
Kawhi is above average intelligence as a player, nowhere near LeBron. He hasn’t taken as much care of his body, he has a degenerative muscle condition in his thigh, and serious injuries to his knees. The chances that Kawhi is able to even sit on the sidelines and be ready to sub in for 3 minutes during garbage time 10 times a year at 42 is almost 0%.
