[Highlights] Hyunjung Lee full highlights vs. Golden State Warriors Gold (98-69 L) - California Classic Summer League:
11 Points on 4⁄7 FG (57.1%), 2⁄5 from 3 (40.0%), 1⁄1 FT, 2 Rebounds, and a +/- of -14 in 17:11 minutes played.
This guy is already the goat of Korean basketball (I know, we barely have any presence in this sport) so please Spurs the 50 nba fans in Korea need this guy to play just 5 minutes and we will increase your annual revenue by 20%
So I’m guessing the national team is okay with him skipping the fiba qualifiers to play summer league? There’s a good chance they don’t make it out of their bracket cause China has a good shot at beating Taiwan and Korea definitely is not beating Japan. Taiwan has the head to head tiebreaker against Korea. So their second round qualification hinges on China losing.
Yes because its once every 500 years we get a player with even a slight chance to make the nba
You have that tall ass dude who played with the Blazers for a couple of years who is a celebrity in Korea now.
Yeah so one every 500 years. We have two guys in our history who sniffed the nba. And nobody cares about the fiba qualifiers here we’d rather have Lee sniff the NBA
I wouldn’t say China will beat Taiwan for sure anymore. They lost to Japan sans Yuki.. 🤦🏻♂️ Taiwan has beaten them before too
Japan without Yuki and Rui still has Yuta, Tominaga, Baba, and that white center. Akira Jacobs also played division 1 college ball. They are very talented. My point was that the chances of Korea beating Japan is much lower than China beating Taiwan.
Japan is in their golden age of basketball right now. They need to get Rui on board to play with them but I dunno what the bad blood is about.
That’s fair. China is up big right now but who knows.
Now they just won. Korea has to beat Japan or they’re eliminated.
TIL there’s a Korean dude in SL and I’m ready to buy a jersey.
As a fellow Korean, I would like nothing more for him to even become a small rotation player in the NBA but doing that on the Spurs is a very tall order. Honestly, it’s a tall order for him to make it on any team but the Spurs are a top 3 team heading into next season.

Pretty sure that’s just Klay Thompson’s routine he copied to use for himself. He’s a huge Warriors fan.
How do the Warriors manage to field 2 separate Summer League teams and one of them wins by almost 30?
I keep raving on about his shooting to people who don’t even care about basketball.
He probably had the greatest three point shooting season in the Japanese league. 47.9% on 6.8 attempts a game. I think the three point line isn’t quite NBA distance, probably FIBA. But he shot 55% on 100+ corner three attempts
The Spurs are going to do it again aren’t they. Something about the tempo and shot makes me think of Dirk.
He’s not an NBA player. Played three years in college, bounced around in the g-league and overseas. Everyone already knows he can shoot. The problem is everything else.
You can search his name in the draft sub, he’s been talked about to death already.
His problem is that he can’t do both sides of the ball in the same game. With his shot if he was a passable isolation defender he’d be in the league. Kind of interestingly in his final season in Illawarra he had the defence but the shot abandoned him.
Either way hard to see him make the NBA because he’d probably have to be a G-Leaguer to have a shot given the concerns around his game, but he’ll make so much money in Japan that it’d be hard to justify giving it up.
Very good in the nbl with Illawarra. The hawks missed him the next season
Shout out my goat. Your Illawarra hawks championship jersey will always be my number 1.
good 3 point shooter wouldnt mind it if he was a vet minny guy or a 2 way guy very likely tho he in our gleague system this year
young gun lee
i hope if the spurs don’t give him a contract the nuggets pick him up. i want a korean guy’s jersey
