Comes down to his defense. Lakers aren’t going to have a problem scoring with or without him, if he’s a significant net negative defensively, he’s not going to get enough burn to get in a groove offensively.

I’m excited that he isn’t looking mid. Being good in SL doesn’t always translate but being average or worse often can. I also like that a lot of what he is doing will work alongside Luka and Austin. Making 3s, able to relocate, off-ball movement, etc.
