There are 3 players in nba history who have averaged 6+ stocks in a season, Hakeem did it 5 times.
Mark Eaton:
1985 - 6 stocks, 5.6 BPG and 0.4 SPG
David Robinson:
1992 - 6.8 stocks, 4.5 BPG and 2.3 SPG
Hakeem Olajuwon:
1989 - 6 stocks, 3.4 BPG and 2.6 SPG
1990 - 6.7 stocks, 4.6 BPG and 2.1 SPG
1991 - 6.1 stocks, 3.9 BPG and 2.2 SPG
1992 - 6.1 stocks, 4.3 BPG and 1.8 SPG
1993 - 6 stocks, 4.2 BPG and 1.8 SPG
After 1993 his offensive load got higher and he was getting a bit older so his stocks dropped. He still averaged 5+ stocks in both of his championship years.
As always if there’s anyone that I missed lmk and I’ll add them!
