Not only that, you’ve always been by far the best player around at every level you’ve ever played at. And often that comes with being surrounded by a bunch of yes people who just want to be around you because of your talent

These players are valuable precisely because they buy into their role and execute to their strengths perfectly. Tari Eason could be a high-value role player if he would stop thinking he’s something he isn’t. I’ve watched nearly every game of this dude’s career and he’s absolutely infuriating, doing the stupidest stuff on the court because he’s somehow convinced he’s secretly Kawhi Leonard.

His attitude sucks, his decision making sucks and if he played within himself he’d have a better experience as an NBA player. He’s continually frustrated that he isn’t starting, isn’t getting paid enough, etc. He’s doing it to himself.

Yet there are hundreds of NBA players not acting like this lol… people always make this argument, but the vast vast majority of NBA players are content in their roles and grateful.
