[Highlight] Cameron Boozer hits the deep 3-pointer
Is that really that deep lol. Good shot tho
That was at least 12 inches behind the line! How much deeper is even physically possible…
Behind the college line….
13 inches
there’s no fucking chance dude
yup, good form, not a slow release. That is a shot he will be able to get in the regular season.
true and happy cake day bruh
*dip
wait did he actually shoot that from halfcourt
looks like a normal 3 to me
Move on, find a new slant
carr shot deeper threes yesterday
It’s like a foot or 2 behind the line while guys usually spot up nearly right on it.
Not that deep but a little further back than normal for sure.
Is the college line now the same as the NBA line? Looks shorter, and that is in a college gym.
My bad I didn’t notice. It really is just a normal 3.
Tbf, there is also a deeper white 3pt line that I just noticed and may actually be an NBA length line, that he is a step behind as well. It’s hard to tell on my phone, though.
There is a fainter white line that’s the nba 3 pt line. Hes like 8-12 inches back from it when he shoots.
I guess it’s slightly deep cause players are usually close enough they occasionally have a toe on the line.
You wouldn’t call this a deep shot for like curry dame Luka and a lot of players though.
No it’s not. The first line is for college girls and the next is college men. The NBA line would be further still. NBA is 23’9” and college men is 22’1.75”.
I think there is a faint white NBA line that he’s still a step behind, but it’s hard to tell on my phone. Or is that the NCAA Men’s line? I don’t see the line touching the key at all.
Yeah I edited that bit out after I typed it because I noticed that too. At this point I’m not sure if that faint line is NBA or not. The best way to tell is the college men’s three still has a full arc and the NBA breaks into straight lines making the corners a lot shorter. I can’t tell here though.
The first line is for college girls and the next is college men.
NCAA Women, Men, and FIBA all have the same three point line out top now. That’s the line with the colored in-fill. The white line beyond that one is the NBA.
Nice shot, but he’s just half a step behind the line lol wouldn’t call that deep
thank you nba front offices for caring about athleticism so much
That’s just a 3 lol
Carlos is so proud
He played for utah right?
If that’s a deep 3 pointer, what’s a regular 3 pointer?
6” before the three point line
How did this guy fall to #3??
Isn’t the athlete the top 2 guys are so people think his ceiling is lower. Same thing was said about Luka when he was in the draft cycle. My pick for ROTY tbh. Has the opportunity
And people were doing the same thing in Ace Bailey/Kon Knueppel debates last summer. Knowing how to play the game, having good feel for the game, those things are pretty unteachable. One thing analytics has done is finally give us a way of quantifying (somewhat) basketball IQ. The NBA is still adjusting, but it seems to be that the most likely outcome is that Boozer is the best and most impactful player out of the top 3.
Crazy statement to make 2 weeks after the draft
We had about 25 weeks during the year to see that boozer would be a better player.
Literally every analyst came out and said Cam has the highest floor of the top 3 lol
DP and AJ are both infinitely better athletes but Cam is undoubtedly the most skilled/IQ of the 3.
Cam has the best chance to be ROTY because he could theoretically be the first option for the Memphis Grizzlies whereas Peterson is behind George and Markannen and Dybantsa is behind Young and Davis in touches. But I still think Dybantsa ends up the best when it’s all said and done.
He doesn’t do hesi tween cross.
Flair bias obviously but i dont think saying he “fell” to 3 is accurate in this case; it was historically congested at the top of this class. I honestly still think Boozer is the best player right now tbh but if you want a legit answer, the reason he “fell” is because AJ Dybantsa looks like he will also be very very good at basketball.
Yeah, it’s not like he got drafted after 2 gym rats who’ve never played basketball. Both Dybantsa and Peterson were historically good in their own ways.
The Ainge’s had an opportunity to draft a guy who didn’t want to play in Utah. You gotta get as many of those guys as possible, duh
Getting a Boozer again on the Jazz would’ve been awesome, I was really hoping for it
Very high floor but lower projected ceiling that Dybantsa and Peterson.
His dunks weren’t hard enough.
And he’s a bad defender despite all evidence showing he was better than the 2 guys drafted above him.
Looked like a local gym type three, how is this hyped?
Ive seen enough, Boozer roty
Odds wise he is actually number 1 for ROTY, he has the best chance to do it
Acuff
Is OP from 2005? How is that a deep 3?
Deep?
This was deep ?
Cameron Boozer hits a 3-pointer from the moon. Fixed the title for you
Fark! That was so deep it put steph curry to shame.
Matisse Thybulle looking ass
So deep, almost a logo/half court shot.
Best player of the draft
Him and JJJ would’ve been the new gen twin towers
Would be hard to get them both on the court properly. Cam is a perfect modern 4 and JJJ at the 5 has never worked well.
Already better than Peterson
I read Carlos and was waiting for him to shoot from the sideline. Didn’t realize he has kids that play
Dawg, do you not watch college basketball, or the draft, or even read about the draft at all? Cameron Boozer was the best college basketball player, and the #3 prospect in this years draft, do better my man.
Cam was just the third pick bro wym
That’s an NBA 3 but keep doubting this kid
“Deep”
I guess.. we gotta see how it translates in an actual NBA gamr
