Envisioning Lebron on every team is a fun exercise… but personally… I’m still convinced that all these talks are just side drama to set up Lebron’s eventual, operatic return to Cleveland.

I’m from MN. My Father was born and raised in Chicago. During the 90s I grew up living all of the bulls glory. Jordan, as a kid was a literal superhero. It didn’t matter what, Jordan was going to win. No one could prove a kid otherwise.

Celtics fan, so you’d think I hate LeBron, but sometimes it’s just fun to root for the best players. Similarly, I hope Wemby one day becomes the GOAT.

Minnesota is my personal favorite destination for LeBron because I just think it would be too much fun for him to play with Ant. Yeah the Golden State Retirement Home memes would be good, and Cleveland would be a natural last chapter to his story, but I really want to see LeBron compete with a decent contender one last time. If he’s going to play for another team, I hope he makes it count.

For context- we just hit 130 seasons in the major 4 sports since our last championship. Not only don’t we have a trophy, we actually haven’t had a team PLAY in a championship in those 130 seasons.

Statistically speaking (assuming all teams have the
Same chance of winning a championship- which admittedly isn’t going to be the case with some teams being better run, spending more-particularly in the MLB without a cap/floor system) - we should have about 4 championships and 4 other finals appearances in that time frame.

With those same assumptions- there is a 98.4% chance that a state would have a trophy after that many seasons, and a 99.97% chance that a team would have least made it to a championship.

So ya… even with acknowledging that there are some other factors that affect these, like the goddamn Pohlad family refusing to spend money on the twins roster…. The curse feels like a real thing

They’re not wrong, winning with the Timberwolves would be the biggest legacy boost he could possibly get. And we already know he would fit there perfectly, because they need someone to replace Julius Randle, who has a similar playstyle. He would have a defensive anchor at center, a great wing next to him who can also play lockdown defense, a star SG he can dish the ball to, and a star PG who can throw him lobs. I can see it happening honestly, depending on how much he actually does care about competing in his last season or two.
