PG was and is a fantastic player. The hatred circlejerk for the man is insane. Meanwhile Kawhi Leonard plays with 3 HOF players, gets paid under the table tremendously for a team he plays half the games, and somehow he’s a GOAT. In 2019, almost a decade ago, he had a great playoff run with a team of extremely good players and they beat a Warriors team after KD Achilles and Klay Thompson ACL.

BTW, if you watched PGs series on a mediocre Pacers team before and after his vomit inducing injury, where his leg literally broke in half, you would see someone hard carrying an entire team. PG broke his leg in half in an exhibition game and turned into an even better player afterward. His ball handling and playmaking in OKC was elite, which again if you actually watched his career, would mean something because he came into the NBA raw. If you watched his career you would know he came into the league as a bad offensive player with almost no real ability to handle the ball, a very inconsistent shot, but had the defensive instincts to slow down prime MVP Derrick Rose as a rookie in the playoffs. You could see something there and clearly NBA front offices still do.
