Mitch is coming back. Huk can now be replaced with a below-min SRP contract. The center market is basically non-existent, as limited as Huk is as a player you don’t let him walk if his price was $5m if you’re not bringing Mitch back.

I might be wrong that he’s coming back but it’s not a delusion to think that the market for a guy who can only be your backup center is not as hot as people originally thought and that Mitch, like Alvarado and Shamet, might be willing to take a small discount to return to the team he just won a chip with. Not to mention the fact that we have the best medical staff in the goddamn league and there’s a strong argument to be made that his best chance at a long career is to stay with us.
