It sounds like they have Beal lined up for part of their MLE.

He’s washed, but of the free agency options he has the highest upside in terms of on-ball creation while also being willing/able to play off-ball with a Giannis-type.

Can’t imagine Beal declining his PO without something like that lined up in advance, but maybe I’m reading the tea leaves wrong here.

Beal better be on a minimum if he’s coming, he’s definitely not worth using part of the mle. If he wants more money we could likely get Middleton on a minimum instead.

The mle should only be used on someone who can give us 25-30 minutes a night
