Tbh I don’t put much stock in teams’ listed metrics. Point guards weighing 175 lbs have worked out before (Ja morant, lonzo ball, chris Paul, trae young, mike Conley, etc). To my knowledge, a 165 lb guard hasnt made it as a starter in the 2000s. The precedents matter more to me.
Also, Dillingham was not good at finishing at the rim (24th percentile rim FG%) or getting to the line (24th percentile FTr). Philon has very good touch and craftiness playing off two feet in the paint (79th percentile rim FG% and 66th percentile FTr).
My bigger concern with Philon is that alabamas system gave him so much more space than his peers that his actual ability to generate advantages is overrated. We’ll see
