I don’t think it is possible to lock up 75mil as a role player (even a good one) and it be a terrible deal.

That’s so much fucking money, he gets to play where he wants to play, avoids risk of future injuries or decline. Even if you end up underpaid from market value, you get to lock in a shitton of money and there’s always a risk of injury taking things into the last year of your deal. Any year could abruptly be the end of your career.

The truly terrible decisions by agents are turning down extensions or taking QOs. Cam Thomas, nerlens noel, Dennis Schroeder, those were bad.

Not totally sure what that means.

I actually think Lu Dort is a bit underrated; as a perimeter defender, he uses his body to put pressure on Wemby. Wallace is better against guards but has zero impact on Wemby. Basically, only Hartenstein can wear Wemby down—which isn’t exactly ideal.
