Most predictable terrible free agent signing last year

I’ll always remember when he averaged 15.1 rebounds per game in the seven game series against the Kings with five consecutive 13+ rebound games, three of which he had 20+. It was crazy to watch him just inhale rebounds on both sides of the floor.

I love Looney. I think he can still be an effective player if he’s used correctly. That being said. I didn’t watch many Pels games last year, so it’s a little unfair of me to say that he wasn’t being used to his strengths.

He’s a great screener and rebounder. I’d love him back on the Warriors, especially if it’s just in a mentor role. He does the little things so well, like just barely shoving the opposing player boxing him out on a live rebound to get them off balance. A dude with a half foot vertical and is 6’9” has no business being that good at rebounding lol.

Unfortunately, he’s a hard player to pair with on the offensive end. He doesn’t provide spacing and that’s incredibly difficult when Draymond’s on the floor. I hope he finds another team if he’s not coming back to the Warriors.
