Jokic isn’t who he is today without a quesarito on his shoulder.
Jokić has forever changed the NBA Draft. It’s now their policy to not announce draft picks during commercials.
Similarly, Tom Brady changed the NFL Draft process. All rookie quarterbacks now get signed rookie cards. Which was not the case for Brady.
Brady did still have a few but damn I had no idea that was a rule.

The draft broadcast is broken. Interviewing Wilson and Boozer while other players are being drafted in the mid-first round and sneaking a live action trading card advertisement in there was shameless.
Add more legit analysis of team needs/outlooks and in depth analysis of the actual prospects. Nobody cares about the couch interviews or cute bits. Make it a basketball fans broadcast instead of weird ass The View vibes broadcast, and sell some ads before, after, and in brief “on the clock” breaks at a few points.
I was switching between Shumpert and Windhorst actually trying to show me what these kids are good at, in highlight videos (but then they talk over the draft announcement and dont actually show Silver making the pick, while also occasionally turning into screaming jokesters, talking about the nightlife in Chicago), and the official NBA coverage which had 0 ZERO seconds of footage and we could listen to Lisa Salters asking “what does this mean for you?” or “how proud are you of your son?” 30 times. Jesus christ its bad. Very very very bad.
