Pistons have a lot of short-term available salary, between Levert (\(15 mill), Robinson (\)16 mill), Stewart ($15 mill) if they make it a multi-team deal, etc.

I think that they aren’t convinced Stew can play starters minutes or that he can stay healthy. He also no showed in the playoffs for a lot of games, although he did have a couple of impactful ones.

Because he collapsed the second people started playing serious defense on him, to the point he was gettong dominated by WCJ and had Donovan Mitchell grabbing rebounds over him.  Not only was he not performing but he basically just gave up.  Like no hustle or heart.  Pistons will likely not ever have the shooting to alleviate the conditions leading to his collapse.

Duren would be the perfect compliment to Sarr, and fits our timeline way better. If a Duren S&T is on the table, I’d be all in on a Duren for AD swap.

yes. brown may feel some type of way about being dangled, when there was ZERO talk of trading tatum, and his contract is massive. boston may want an expiring matching contract to gain flexibility in future years.

That’s one out of 1000 examples of how little people understand basketball. They read the box score, watch the regular season awards tallies, debate the MVP race without watching the games, watch the “analysts” talk and base their opinions on that.

They know Duren made the All-NBA team, and Brown made the All-NBA team, both are all stars so they must be comparable. Zero context.

Because NBA teams are way more invested in analytics and are not fooled by JB’s empty stats. Every impact stat shows that he has been a negative player for almost his entire career. There is a reason real stars like LaMelo get traded quickly and cleanly because there is real demand.
