Just pick up any 7 footer really. The main reason Duren is even an all star is because Cade averaged the 2nd most assists in the league. Nearly all of JDs points were lobs from Cade.

Edit: my point is that Cade can do that for any center. So having JB on the team just makes it easier on the pick n roll

Duren has absolutely zero instincts. People can see he’s young, but instincts are near impossible to coach. He really does not know how to use his size, especially in the playoffs.

Jaylen would easily be the leading scorer on the Pistons. Cade took a reduced load last season for the emergence of fucking Jalen Duren. You don’t think he’s going to happily let JB take 20+ shots a game?

It’s a terrific fit. Cade is at his best when he can be a PG and a secondary scorer. Jaylen wants to be a pure #1 scorer. Jaylen will score 30 ppg, Cade will get 23 and lead the league in assists. Both will be happy.

This is what I was joking with yesterday with my pistons friend saying it’d be funny if y’all went for him and he has to play second fiddle again and it blows it up.
