If it’s brought in the massive LaMelo trade, Celtics could do JB for just Brandon Miller + picks.

That gives them a \(42m TPE and \)26m in cap space this off-season, which is easily turned into $36m if they find some to take Hauser.

I mean, something like Brandon Miller, Hartenstein (if he’s available) for \(35m a year and then Trey Murphy into a TPE for a bunch of Charlotte picks is all of a sudden a great JB return. Still could use the \)15m MLE if they’re willing to go into the tax.

Trading your ball handling, passing point guard while you have a 2 and a 3 already to trade for Jaylen Brown seems like a questionable decision

The only one the hornets could realistically trade for who’s on the same level as Jaylan is Eric Collin’s.

OP why are you insistent on trying to push this Jaylen Brown is getting traded narrative.  You’ve made 4 posts in the last few days about it.  Also all of the previous rumors besides the Giannis one, have been worded in ways where it sounds like other teams are asking for Brown and his price, not the Celtics shopping him.

I have no idea who this Lacett guy is, but Eric Collins is the Hornets pbp.  You can’t just make up some dudes credentials to make it seem more credible.

Celtics would want Kon, Williams expiring, and would probably reroute the Lamelo exception to the Pelicans with 3-4 picks for Murphy.
