I’d disagree completely. The Cavs were LeBron’s team the moment he joined. Even more recently, the Mavs became Flagg’s team when he joined, and even the Grizzlies right now are Boozer’s team. AJ’s proven his greatness and talent in college, while AD even though he’s a legend is growing old, and has Trae even improved since his second year? If anything he’s gotten quite worse, that’s why ATL traded him. By his second year AJ’s for sure gonna be more important than Trae, or even in his first if he improves his defense with good coaching.

Basically my point is, even if you technically might not be the best team, if your cast is either old and injured (AD) or washed (Trae), it’s your team. I do legitimately believe he’ll be better than Trae within a year anyways

Yeah I agree. Wizards are in a very interesting situation. They have LOADS of young talent plus some proven veteran players. AD is a great player for Bilal, Sarr, and AJ to learn from all around. Trae is a great player for Bub, Bilal, AJ, Johnson, and Kyshawn to learn from offensively. I don’t know how they do this season, but wouldn’t be shocked if they’re making waves by the end of the 27-28 season, barring injuries/any craziness.
