He accomplished more in a short time than most coaches do in a lifetime, so for that, cannot fault him at all. Trying to repeat that NIL mercenary process every year for the next ten years vs. coaching Cooper Flagg through his prime doesn’t seem like a tough decision to me.

A bit stunned in this moment. Being pissed will probably come later.

Not even a Michigan fan but why would you ever want to leave that job? Basically just solidified a statue on campus within the first few years at one of the top jobs in the country. Is the extra millions to get canned after a few years in the NBA really worth it? Always blows my mind when coaches don’t take John Wooden/Joe Paterno route

Hard to say. There have been way more coaches that have completely failed going from college to the NBA than have succeeded
