In Haslem’s last year, I went to a Celtics game, and he was at that point, I think the oldest player in the league. Celtics pummeled the Heat and they sent him in at the end. I got so excited when he scored because I am also old and got to see him put up some points.

After 2019 there’s no chance he’s not getting in. In other sports I’d agree, but a lot of people don’t realize how low the bar for the **pro basketball Hall is. There’s a good chance he would have gotten in even without that title.

Funniest part is that while personally I don’t 100% disagree with you assessment that Lowry is a HOF, but the fact that you said he’s one of the better guards of his era is not a good argument for it

His prime coincided with the best point guard era of all time, so he actually was never even top 5 IMO of his era. Curry, CP3, Harden, Westbrook, Dame, Wall, Kyrie were all just simply either a tier or two better during that same time

To me, making a HOF where you were never even a top 6-7 PG is a tough sell
