There was no Knicks parade 53 years ago, nor was there one in 1970 for their first championship. The city was in too much turmoil so they just had a ceremony with Mayor Lindsay at Gracie Mansion

Dolan is a black hole purely bc for whatever reason he dont like Mamdani (color me surprised wow) and Menin isnt the best at giving speeches to non political based crowds. So the fact that they were done in less than 2 mins is a blessing.

Also Jalen speaking for 2 minutes is pretty much his style. He is subtle. Most of the NBA superstars are like that. Even Lebron who we say enjoys being the center of attention doesnt speak for long.
