I’m glad Ewing is so thrilled with the championship. I think a lot of guys would avoid the spotlight and get grumpy, but Ewing been a big supporter, even if he’s the face of the team that couldn’t get it across the finish line.
It’s been 53 years. If it happened immediately after he retired, could maybe be a little bitter but at this point probably just wants to see a parade
The bond he’s built with KAT is really sweet. Pretty sure that’s the first player he looked for to give a hug.

I tear up every time I see him since they won. His whole post career it was obvious it ate him up inside that he couldn’t win NY a championship. Seeing him happy now is awesome.
