What is a Harlem accent? He sounds like a regular New Yorker. We all sound like that
The bronx, harlem, and brooklyn have had distinct accents due mostly to the ethnic groups that em up. Brooklyn i think has the new york accent you see the most in movies and historically it was kind of built from the enclaves of irish, jewish, italian, and eastern european immigrants there. Harlem also has strong AAVE markers obv but it was also influenced by the waves of latino and carribean immigrants. The bronx to me has the most distinct accent of the boroughs, though i think it changed over time as the demographics of the neighborhood changed so it prob used to sound a lot different. Like Cardi B sounds very strongly and distinctly like some1 from the bronx not someone from nyc generally.

Josh Harts value is not measured on the stat sheet, the guy is a culture creator and a leader. Hearing him talking about just wanting to find some consistency in his journey and knowing he finally has a home that gets him, that broke me up

I didn’t even know the parade was happening till watching the local news after the game to see all the after math around the city and they mentioned the parade scheduled for today. My initial thought was it’s probably gonna be a pre-party for the ticker tape parade cause no doubt people will still be buzzing from last night.
