God it was so hard watching those teams. I’m stunned right now. I was in college in the 90’s watching perennial Knicks playoffs then went through all this just to get this win. I thought I’d never see them win it all. Just can’t believe my dad didn’t get to see this run, my first memory of being a Knicks fan was watching the draft lottery with him and him jumping up and down in the living room yelling “We’re gettin Ewing!”

11 years ago the Spurs won 55 games. Fans were not showing up to games expecting to lose and showing up to drafts expecting to boo our draft picks.
Booing the draft picks is crazy shameful though. Tanking is one thing but booing kids who haven’t even played an nba minute? Come on
I don’t support the booing, but the boos were never toward the player, they were always toward the organization who had failed time and time again to draft the right players.
