The Knicks parade is probably going to break all kinds of records because of how long it’s been. The five boroughs, Long Island, North Jersey, Southern New York State, and Western Connecticut all have a shit load of folks that are Knicks fans that may never get this chance to experience a Knicks parade ever again.

It’s going to be crowded AF regardless, but having the parade on a weekend would make things exponentially more challenging logistically and more expensive. All public transportation would have to run on a weekday schedule, which is going to require a lot more overtime for city workers.
