Matchups again, many spurs fans said before those finals that people were too confident and Knicks match up very well against us. Obviously also somehow that team is full From dumbasses from head coach to players.
We definitely did but it was one game. I have no clue how we clawed back from that 16 point deficit (Brunson, it was Brunson) and I also have no clue how we held on defense while the offense was stagnant but I’ll take it.

The Spurs treated the WCF as the real finals and got rattled when they lost the first game, never recovered from that mentality.
Because the Thunder didn’t have the offensive firepower the Knicks do to break the Spurs incredible defense. Knicks could rattle off these huge runs sparked by KAT, or Brunson, or Bridges, or name a shooter. Thunder basically had SGA, MCain, and Caruso when he was hitting. This spurs team defense is stifling. If you look back at the Thunder series, Spurs score about the same each game, it was all on the other side.
