Those of us who have watched 100+ spurs games this year have been saying that over and over again. This won’t be popular because the spurs are down right now, but all these internet basketball fans would agree if the spurs were up. Just chasing the popular narratives.

I don’t think playing physical and getting away with not being called for common fouls should be considered dirty.

Every big or physically dominate player has dealt with it. I think the same players also are allowed to play more physical and not be called for offensive fouls so it’s a two way street

Wemby cheats/fouls on almost every possession and the refs never call it. So the Knicks are doing the right thing by going at him, though they have barely done anything dirty so far. This is just finals basketball. Draymond green said it best that they have to hit Wemby back for the dirty Brunson head shove
