We were stuck at 15 points for awhile while we were mounting our comeback. Once we were able to cut it to 12, I started to believe. Flashback memories of Knicks- Cavs 2026 ECF Game 1 and Knicks-Pacers 2025 ECF Game 1.
Seeing this run after the Knicks were the victims of the clutch Pacers run last season is so fascinating.

When KAT got in early foul trouble I was ready to turn the game off. I told my gf who only started watching the Knicks w/ me 2 years ago “I know how these things go” to which she responded “Do you?”
Immediately remembered being outside the garden during Celtics game 2. We were down 20 and not a single person left because they just saw this team do the same thing 2 nights earlier.
I’ve seen that kind of comeback enough to know that if there was a team to comeback it was this one.
I remembered the Knicks’ comeback against the Cavs in game 1 of the ECF and held out hope that they’d replicate it.
There was a stretch where the knicks brought the score within 15 and the spurs answered back two or three times and brought the score back to 18+. I knew if we could get under 15 the dam would burst and we’d come all the way back. Feels great that the team keeps us engaged no matter the score

The NY Knicks are 5-3 in postseason games where they got down 20 or more in the last 2 years. The rest of the league is 4-71. The Spurs aren’t down 3 to 1 because Fox sucks. They are losing to a very tough team.

Our guys are healthier than any other team because of Thibs. IIRC even Adam Silver acknowledged that playing more minutes leads to better conditioning and less injuries than load management. It seems to be the case TBH.
