Based on new reporting from last month, Trump literally wants to give the impression to the rest of the world that he is up ²⁴⁄₇, and has tasked one of his assistants to work a graveyard shift and basically shitpost all night on Truth Social. While Trump does greenlight a lot of the posts, nobody else on his team actually does, and they have to do a lot of retroactive explanations for his and his assistant’s dumb shit. Now, Trump still may be the one doing the shitposting and they just threw an assistant of his under the bus, but I also think it’s a valid reason to believe that an 80 year old man, who doctors have been so concerned with his cognitive state they have given him dementia tests he claims are “very hard” for at least six years, just gets tired all the time
