“I love the games, but because of the security, I have to bring the Secret Service with me. And I end up displacing people and it causes a huge commotion. I don’t want to be the guy who’s ruining the game for other people.”
And even when Obama did go to games, he would only go to Wizard games in DC, which would displace very few people.

Why? It increased their attendance by at least 30. So it went from 1000 to like 1030 in the arena.

Best deal I ever got as a wizards fan was a \(10 ticket that was redeemable for \)10 at concessions. Which at the time was almost exactly the cost of a beer. Concessions are much more expensive but I still regularly go on great deals. We’ll see moving forward. I wanna see the popularity grow but it’ll also cost more to go as often.

Three years ago went went to DC for Christmas and caught a game the day after Xmas against the Magic. We bought tickets day of just to give us something to do. I swear I could have counted the people there and the number would not have needed a comma. At one point the crowd started cheering for Wagner to get a triple double. Crazy game

The ticket prices posted online are all resale prices that are specifically high because the people are trying to make a buck on a highly sought after commodity. Most of the seats were likely kept by the original season ticket holders and they probably run about \(500. Still expensive but not the \)10k tickets making headlines.
