Sam Presti: “If there is one thing I’m a little frustrated about, besides not winning the final quarter of the season is… I think we lost out on a lot of team development.”
Heavy is the head that wears the crown I guess. 64 wins, conference finals, and some people treat it like a failure.
If he’s talking the injuries that kinda cost them to see a full team in the playoffs I get it.
Well Sorber tearing his ACL right before the season started, Topic getting cancer right after his ACL healed and when he came back, there just weren’t enough minutes that we could give him to develop him. Those are the things I think he’s talking about. Adding McCain basically completely cut any remaining minutes that Topic was going to get.
Prior to this season starting it was almost a forgone conclusion that iHart had to go after this season and Sorber was his replacement. Now, the fan outlook is that we have to keep iHart because he’s too valuable to us as a team cause we didn’t get to see any Sorber.
I don’t know Sorber, but please let go of ihart lol
Stupid sexy Presti.
This is probably more about the regular season injuries and not getting to see certain lineup combinations with guys constantly out, and missing out on a year of discovering what Sorber/Topic can do. Makes roster decisions tougher when you don’t have that data to support who should stay or go.

Thunder were literally near the bottom in the regular season for FT rate and at the bottom during the playoffs 😂
