I usually try not to put too much stock into college stats but the fact he only averaged 1.6 assists per game is kind of mind boggling to me. I understand they probably told him to just look for his shot but not being able to get to 2 assists per game is wild for a high usage guard in 2026

Jazz fans have collectively gaslight themselves into believing that Peterson is the clear #1 prospect because that’s who is most commonly mocked to them at #2. Much like how Grizzlies fans have decided that Boozer is the clear #1 and Bulls fans have decided that Wilson is actually the best player in the draft.

Reality is that there are four outstanding prospects, nobody really knows what order they will be picked in, and the average Redditor is probably not a reliable evaluator of elite Basketball talent.

It depends on the rest of your team. Trae doesn’t do much off ball, and he’s a bad defender. FVV is much better at moving around when the ball isn’t in his hands, and he’s a pesky, stout defender, even if he’s not a stopper. If you already have two guys who can handle the ball and pass, I’d probably pick Fred. If you need an initiator who can shoulder a lot of the offensive load, Trae is more capable of that.
