Driving to the paint is hard, it’s one of the most fundamental skills in the game and is also the thing defenses key on. 3pt shooting is used to keep people honest, to let you play inside.

There are times when he’s being pushed out to the 3 point line and there are times when he has post position from about 15 feet and he WILLINGLY leaves it to go beyond the 3pt line… he needs to commit more, turn, face and shoot over whoever is guarding him.
The range he shot the buzzer-beater from shouldn’t be as foreign to his game as it is because it’s damn near always there for him but he hasn’t worked on it enough yet.
Yeah, I honestly haven’t watched the Spurs play during the season or even most of the playoffs until now, but he doesn’t have to pound the entire game in the paint to get easier, high percentage shots. No one’s saying he has to try and body defenders and knock them off their asses like Shaq, but use this guy’s height advantage!

well, they are a VERY good team. i don’t predict 2-2 from how the games have gone but it’s not as outlandish an outcome as the narrative has made it seem.
I said something similar after game 1. Someone scoffed at the idea of the Knicks sweeping. I said I wouldn’t predict it but its in the range of possible outcomes.
